You\u2019d have to watch the extended cut on Peacock to see this part, but <span>Katie Ginella<\/span> brought up a conspiracy theory that <span>Scheana Shay<\/span> from <span>Vanderpump<\/span> <span>Rules<\/span> had been \u201cplotting\u201d to get Gretchen back on the show.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Unfortunately for Katie, that all fell flat when Andy explained the true background of Gretchen\u2019s RHOC comeback. He said it all started with that ill-fated edition of <span>Real Housewives of Ultimate Girls Trip<\/span> in Morocco.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">\u201cWell, can I just point out that the reason Gretchen is on the show is that she was on [RHUGT]?\u201d Andy said. \u201cWe were all like, \u2018Wow, it\u2019s great to see Gretchen again. It would be fun if she [were] back on the show. I wonder if she would do it.\u2019 That\u2019s how it happened. It had nothing to do with Scheana.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Gretchen filmed RHUGT in 2023 along with other retired Housewives like <span>Alex McCord<\/span> and <span>Caroline Manzo<\/span>. Of course, that season got shelved after Caroline accused fellow cast member <span>Brandi Glanville<\/span> of sexually assaulting her during filming. The litigation <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yahoo.com\/entertainment\/articles\/rhugt-morocco-episodes-supposedly-edited-140756055.html\" data-ylk=\"slk:is still ongoing;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas;outcm:mb_qualified_link;_E:mb_qualified_link;ct:story;\" class=\"link  yahoo-link\">is still ongoing<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Meanwhile, Gretchen\u2019s unaired performance scored her an invitation to RHOC Season 19, and apparently, that wasn\u2019t the first time. In a previous interview, she said RHOC producers contacted her <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yahoo.com\/entertainment\/articles\/why-gretchen-rossi-rejected-rhoc-154327506.html\" data-ylk=\"slk:three other times;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas;outcm:mb_qualified_link;_E:mb_qualified_link;ct:story;\" class=\"link  yahoo-link\">three other times<\/a>, but she had \u201cno interest\u201d in returning.
