\n EXCLUSIVE:<\/strong> HBO Max<\/a>\u2018s hit medical drama The Pitt<\/a> <\/em>has added four recurring guest stars to its Season 2 cast. They include Brittany Allen\u00a0(The Boys<\/em>,\u00a0Dexter: Original Sin<\/em>), Bonita\u00a0Friedericy \u00a0<\/strong>(A Friend of the Family<\/em>,\u00a0Chicago Med<\/em>), Taylor Handley\u00a0(Mayor of Kingstown<\/em>,\u00a0Griselda<\/em>) and Jeff Kober\u00a0<\/strong>(The Walking Dead<\/em>,\u00a0Sons of Anarchy<\/em>).<\/p>\n \n The Noah Wyle-led and executive produced series returns with its sophomore season in January. It is set 10 months after the events of the Season 1 finale and takes place over Fourth of July weekend.<\/p>\n \n From creator R. Scott Gemmill and producer John Wells,\u00a0The Pitt\u00a0<\/em>chronicles the urgent challenges U.S. frontline healthcare professionals face through the lens of the fictional Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center\u2019s emergency department. Offering a real-time format, the series traces, hour by hour, the medical cases and personal crises physicians and nurses must navigate as they reckon with an overabundance of patients and a lack of resources.<\/p>\n \n Descriptions for the four new additions can be found below.<\/p>\n \n Allen will play Roxie Hamler, an Emergency Department patient; Friedericy as Cora Wilkins, a woman visiting a patient in the Emergency Department; Handley as Paul Hamler, husband of an Emergency Department patient; Kober as Duke, a motorcycle engineer who goes way back with one of the doctors.<\/p>\n \n In addition to Wyle, The Pitt<\/em> also stars Katherine LaNasa, Shawn Hatosy, Taylor Dearden, Patrick Ball, Isa Briones, Fiona Dourif, Supriya Ganesh, Shabana Azeez and Gerran Howell. New Season 2 additions include Sepideh Moafi as a series regular, and Charles Baker, Irene Choi, La\u00ebtitia Hollard, Lucas Iverson and Lawrence Robinson in recurring roles. <\/p>\n \n The series is produced by John Wells Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television, where the company is under an overall deal.
