Europe is ‘decaying’ group of nations led by ‘weak’ people, Trump says as he takes aim at European migration<\/h2>\n<\/header>\n
Meanwhile, US president Donald Trump has repeatedly criticised the EU and the European leaders in an interview with Politico, published just now<\/a>, dismissing Europe as a \u201cdecaying\u201d group of nations led by \u201cweak\u201d people.<\/strong><\/p>\n Speaking about European leaders, he said \u201cI think they are weak,\u201d<\/strong> and blamed them for being \u201cpolitically correct.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI think they don\u2019t know what to do,\u201d he added. \u201cEurope doesn\u2019t know what to do.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n He praised Hungary<\/strong> and Poland<\/strong> for their track record on migration, but said that more broadly he was concerned about Europe as \u201cthey are allowing people to come in, unchecked, unvetted.\u201d<\/p>\n Despite the pushback from Europe, Trump also reiterated that he would be prepared to support European leaders in domestic elections<\/strong> saying \u201cI\u2019ve endorsed people, but I\u2019ve endorsed people that a lot of Europeans don\u2019t like.<\/strong> I\u2019ve endorsed Viktor Orb\u00e1n.\u201d<\/p>\n What Orb\u00e1n \u201chas really gotten right is the immigration because he allows nobody in his country <\/strong>and Poland has done a very good job in that respect, too, but most European nations, they\u2019re they\u2019re decaying,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n Trump also said warned that Europe would also get \u201cmuch weaker\u201d as a result of migration,<\/strong> \u201cbecause the people coming in have a totally different ideology.\u201d<\/p>\n He pointedly attacked his longstanding political enemy, London mayor Sadiq Khan,<\/strong> saying he is \u201ca disaster,\u201d adding: \u201cI hate what\u2019s happened to London, and I hate what\u2019s happened to Paris.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cEurope, they want to be politically correct, and it makes them weak. That\u2019s what makes them weak<\/strong>,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n Trump also added that European countries \u201cshould get the people out that came into the country illegally.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n Trump also said he didn\u2019t have much hopes about European involvement in the Ukraine<\/a> peace talks, as \u201cthey talk, but they don\u2019t produce, and the war just keeps going on and on.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n
