HOLLYWOOD, LOS ANGELES — <\/span>She has an Oscar, a SAG award, an Emmy, a Tony nomination, and now, a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.<\/p>\n Actress Jessica Chastain received her star Thursday surrounded by her fans, family, friends, and two colleagues who have had a major impact on her career: Academy Award winners Al Pacino and Viola Davis. All three actors have become kindred spirits who love their craft.<\/p>\n “Jessica, you understand the task of being an artist,” Davis told Chastain during Thursday’s ceremony. “I love how you do what you do.”<\/p>\n Chastain won the Academy Award, SAG Award, and Critics Choice Award for “The Eyes of Tammy Faye.”<\/p>\n She also earned Emmy, Golden Globe, and SAG nominations for Showtime’s “George & Tammy,” and received a Tony nomination and Drama Desk Award for “A Doll’s House on Broadway.”<\/p>\n She also got Oscar nominations for “The Help” and “Zero Dark Thirty.”<\/p>\n “Standing in front of this star, I feel the weight and great gift of what we get to do in Hollywood, so this star to me, it’s not an end point, it’s a mile marker,” said Chastain. “It says, ‘Keep going.’ To my friends, my teachers, my collaborators, you guys turned a shy, awkward drama kid into a woman who believed that stories can save lives.
