\n SZA is the latest artist<\/a> to slam the White House<\/a> for using one of her songs in a pro-ICE ad, calling it \u201cevil\u201d and \u201cboring.\u201d<\/p>\n \n The singer reacted on Twitter after the White House used \u201cBig Boy,\u201d originally aired as part of an SNL sketch in December 2022, in a social media post earlier this week. \u201cWhite House rage baiting artists for free promo is PEAK DARK ..inhumanity +shock and aw tactics,\u201d she wrote<\/a>. \u201cEvil n Boring.\u201d<\/p>\n \n The White House used the viral tune to promote the actions of ICE, tweeting a video that showed agents arresting immigrants. \u201cWe heard it\u2019s cuffing szn,\u201d posted the White House, a reference to the song\u2019s lyrics. \u201cBad news for criminal illegal aliens. Great news for America.\u201d<\/p>\n \n SZA<\/a>\u2018s manager Punch also seemed to address the White House post, writing on X, \u201cTrying to provoke [artists] to respond in order to help spread propaganda and political agendas is nasty business. Knock it off.\u201d<\/p>\n \n In a statement to Variety<\/em>, White House spokeswoman Abigail Jackson commented, \u201cThank you, SZA, for drawing even more attention to the tremendous work America\u2019s ICE officers are doing by arresting dangerous criminal illegal aliens from American communities.\u201d<\/p>\n \n SZA joins a growing list of artists who have spoken out against the White House for repurposing their songs for posts. Last week, Sabrina Carpenter slammed Donald Trump\u2019s administration for using her hit song \u201cJuno\u201d in a video montage depicting ICE raids. \u201cThis video is evil and disgusting.
