What is bad about that?\u201d<\/p>\n Brown was referring to the booger-flicking celebration that he, fellow receiver Jameson Williams and running back Jahmyr Gibbs did on the Lions\u2019 first drive of the game against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday. No, they weren\u2019t really digging into their nasal regions, but the referees didn\u2019t like the mimicry and told them to stop, according to St. Brown.<\/p>\n \u201cBro, we do it after the first drive, our receivers coach says, \u2018Hey, man, refs said you can\u2019t do that no more,’\u201d St. Brown told his brother Equanimeous St. Brown, who spent a few weeks with the San Francisco 49ers this summer before getting released in August, on their St. Brown Podcast<\/a>. \u201cWhat is bad about that? Is that disrespectful? Is that derogatory?\u201d<\/p>\n Equanimeous said the NFL is \u201canti-fun. It\u2019s not like you\u2019re flicking an actual booger on somebody.\u201d<\/p>\n The NFL did not immediately respond to questions from\u00a0The Athletic.<\/em><\/p>\n Rule 12, Section 3<\/a> of the NFL rulebook mentions several types of gestures that NFL players can\u2019t do during games.
