Gen Alpha slang is transcending generations and has made its way to Oscar winner Zoe Salda\u00f1a.\u00a0<\/a>\n<\/p>\n While talking with PEOPLE about the things that stood out to her from 2025, Salda\u00f1a, 47, admits there’s one phrase that\u2019s been on her mind: 6-7. <\/a>\n<\/p>\n When asked about her favorite pop culture moment from the past year, the actress says, \u201cThis whole 6-7 thing has been, oh God, an absolute anomaly.\u00a0I am just so hyper-focused on this Gen Alpha lingo, and I’m gonna get it.\u201d\u00a0\n<\/p>\n The meme seemingly stemmed from the song “Doot Doot (6 7)” by Skrilla<\/a> that features the recurring lyric, \u201c6-7.\u201d Despite having no clear meaning aside from rhythmic repetition, NBA player LaMelo Ball<\/a> is often associated with the meme, as he stands an impressive 6 feet, 7 inches.\n<\/p>\n <\/span> The phrase has been hard to avoid on TikTok, with users making both intentional and unintentional references, ultimately working its way into everyday conversations.
