Alix Earle<\/a> is ready to show a different side of herself on Season 34 of\u00a0Dancing With the Stars<\/a><\/em>. Along with Robert Irwin<\/a>, Jennifer Affleck<\/a>, and Whitney Leavitt, the internet personality was one of four contestants confirmed for the show ahead of the big September 3 cast reveal, and she opened up to TV Insider about what she hopes to bring to the competition.<\/p>\n \u201cI am definitely competitive, which I don\u2019t think anyone has ever really seen before,\u201d Earle admits. \u201cPeople are used to seeing me having fun and I think the more serious side of myself is definitely going to come out in the training.\u201d<\/p>\n Earle says she\u2019s \u201calways been a fan\u201d of the dance competition show and is excited to dive back into one of her childhood passions (she grew up dancing but stopped in high school). \u201cBeing able to submerge myself in dance training again is such a dream come true,\u201d she gushes. \u201cI have never done any ballroom dancing or danced with a partner before, but I\u2019m eager to learn!\u201d<\/p>\n While Earle is used to putting herself out there on social media,\u00a0DWTS<\/em> will require her to do live performances on television each week, which is admittedly what she\u2019s \u201cmost nervous\u201d about. \u201cMy nerves can definitely get to me at times, and I think forgetting the dance on live television is my biggest fear,\u201d she shares. \u201cBut I cannot wait to meet everyone in the DWTS<\/em> family and all of the other talent on the show. I\u2019ve heard so much about the close connections you build with everyone and can\u2019t wait to be part of it.\u201d<\/p>\n Earle thinks she\u2019ll excel at the \u201cquick and upbeat\u201d dances, like the Samba or Jive, but is \u201cpretty terrified\u201d of the slower routines, like the Viennese Waltz.
