\n Ariana Grande<\/a> isn\u2019t thinking about making new music \u2014 at least not right now. On Friday, the Wicked<\/a><\/em> star clarified comments she made to Variety<\/a><\/em>, joking that she\u2019d need \u201can extra brain and four more arms\u201d to take on a new album at the moment.<\/p>\n \n The trade outlet initially reported that Grande said there was \u201cdefinitely not\u201d new music coming \u201cbefore May,\u201d adding a message to fans: \u201cI love them so much, but sometimes I want to ask, \u2018Do you think there\u2019s another version of me out there who had time to write an album?\u2019 Not yet \u2014 but soon enough.\u201d<\/p>\n \n But in a follow-up Instagram comment, Grande pushed back on that framing. \u201cWelp, I never said \u2018but soon enough\u2019 or mentioned any months! lol my goooooodness,\u201d she wrote. \u201cAll i said was \u2018no\u2019 and \u2018do they think there\u2019s a clone of me out there somewhere\u2019! there must\u2019ve been a Zoom glitch or something.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n \n The mention of a month in the year led some fans to believe that perhaps she would be sharing new music during her Eternal Sunshine<\/em> tour,<\/a> which is scheduled for this summer. In a separate comment on that post, she wrote, \u201cMa\u2019am i would need an extra brain and four more arms.\u201d<\/p>\n \n Back in November, she said that her Eternal Sunshine<\/em> run<\/a> was going to be her \u201clast hurrah.\u201d She told Amy Poehler in a podcast interview<\/a>, \u201cI do know that I\u2019m very excited to do this small tour, but I think it might not happen again for a long, long, long, long, long time. I\u2019m going to give it my all and it\u2019s going to be beautiful.\u201d<\/p>\n
