She came to ESPN after working as a writer and editor for Sports Illustrated.<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p>LOS ANGELES &#8212; <a data-player-guid=\"9cddedba-a8f5-503d-d2f9-5b76af7c32c9\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/player\/_\/id\/4048099\/samson-nacua\">Samson Nacua<\/a>, the brother of <a data-clubhouse-guid=\"2e1473b2-e269-fd7a-1137-c1edacb85986\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/team\/_\/name\/lar\/los-angeles-rams\">Rams<\/a> wide receiver <a data-player-guid=\"05861488-1bb7-7c32-83eb-d0658a6e2b89\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/player\/_\/id\/4426515\/puka-nacua\">Puka Nacua<\/a>, will not be charged after he was arrested last month for allegedly taking a vehicle without the owner&#8217;s consent, ABC7 in Los Angeles reported Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>Samson Nacua and another man, Trey Rose, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/story?_slug_=samson-nacua-arrested-theft-lakers-player-car&amp;id=47346576\">were arrested by the Los Angeles County Sheriff&#8217;s Department<\/a> in December after allegedly stealing a car belonging to <a data-clubhouse-guid=\"2876e98b-b9bc-2920-4319-46e6943f8be4\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nba\/team\/_\/name\/lal\/los-angeles-lakers\">Lakers<\/a> forward <a data-player-guid=\"ce1ad795-4ef7-3aac-b6b1-837ee61b3c04\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nba\/player\/_\/id\/5060631\/adou-thiero\">Adou Thiero<\/a>.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"inline editorial float-r\" data-behavior=\"article_related\">\n<h2 class=\"editorial-title\">Editor&#8217;s Picks<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><a name=\"&amp;lpos=story:editorspicks:inline:1\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/story\/_\/id\/47346576\/samson-nacua-arrested-theft-lakers-player-car\" class=\"img-link\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.jubi24.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/r1485784_1296x1296_1-1.jpg&amp;w=130&amp;h=130&amp;scale=crop&amp;location=center.jpeg\" width=\"65\" height=\"65\" \/><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/aside>\n<p>But Thursday, the LASD&#8217;s West Hollywood Station told ABC7 that Samson Nacua believed it was Puka&#8217;s car; he has one similar in model and color to a vehicle owned by Thiero.<\/p>\n<p>As a result, Thiero did not want to press charges, officials told ABC7.<\/p>\n<p>Samson Nacua played college football at Utah and BYU. On Wednesday, he was drafted by the UFL&#8217;s Birmingham Stallions.
