Frank Lampard is likely to be a strong contender to replace Oliver Glasner as Crystal Palace manager, talkSPORT understands.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Palace owner Steve Parish was a big admirer of Lampard even before he rocketed Coventry to the top of the Championship – which has led to the coach being linked with various Premier League jobs<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Chelsea<\/a> legend is expected to feature prominently on the Eagles\u2019 list of options to take over at Selhurst Park when Glasner walks away at the end of the season<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Whether Lampard would be willing to swap Coventry for Palace if he takes the Sky Blues into the Premier League<\/a> is one potential issue.<\/p>\n

As previously reported, Palace are also interested in Getafe\u2019s Jose Bordalas and his La Liga counterpart, Rayo Vallecano boss Inigo Perez.<\/p>\n

Parish and sporting director Matt Hobbs have been working on a succession plan for Glasner since the Austrian told them he was not renewing his contract in October.<\/p>\n
