Kehlani\u2019s<\/a> next album is slated to be a star-studded affair, and the R&B singer teased a collaboration with Clipse<\/a> on the project in a post to her Instagram Story.<\/a><\/p>\n Kehlani posted a photo on Friday (Jan. 30) alongside Pusha T<\/a> and Malice at a Grammy week party, which they captioned, \u201cTrack 2. @Clipse.\u201d While some were surprised to see the Oakland and Virginia connection, fans were intrigued.<\/p>\n More from Billboard<\/strong><\/p>\n To go a step further, Kehlani was spotted in the studio recently with Pharrell,<\/a> who has been a close collaborator with the Clipse for decades and fully produced the Thornton brothers\u2019 Let God Sort Em Out <\/em>album, which is up for album of the year honors at the Grammy Awards.<\/p>\n During an interview with Inked Mag<\/a><\/em>, Kehlani teased that her upcoming album will \u201cprobably\u201d have more collabs than they\u2019ve had on previous projects.<\/p>\n \u201cI have way more collaborations than I\u2019ve probably ever had, and they\u2019re all people that I really, really respect,\u201d the singer said. \u201cAnd I think the coolest thing about it is, there\u2019s no features that feel like, \u2018Oh, a label threw this together,\u2019 or \u2018Two people were popping right now, so we just threw it together.\u2019 It was all super organic.\u201d<\/p>\n Kehlani continued: \u201cEverybody\u2019s just loving the music that\u2019s being made. I have people that I adore and look up to on this, so I\u2019m really excited about it.\u201d<\/p>\n The \u201cFolded\u201d artist already confirmed that a pair of R&B legends, Brandy<\/a> and Usher<\/a>, are slated to appear as guests on their next album.<\/p>\n Kehlani notched her first top 10 Billboard Hot 100<\/a> hit with \u201cFolded,\u201d which is nominated for best R&B song and best R&B performance at the Grammys.
