For five days with no air cover, the captain and his small force of three escort ships must\u00a0make their way through an area of the ocean known as \u201cthe Black Pit,\u201d battling Nazi U-boats while protecting their\u00a0invaluable ships and soldiers.<\/p>\n \n Greyhound<\/em> is inspired by events during the Battle of the Atlantic, which took place in the\u00a0earliest months of America\u2019s alliance with Great Britain and the Allied Forces.<\/p>\n \n Both films are written by Hanks, directed by Aaron Schneider and\u00a0produced by Gary Goetzman.<\/p>\n \n In addition to\u00a0Greyhound<\/em> 2<\/em>, Graham is set to star\u00a0opposite Zazie Beetz and Liev Schreiber in a new series for Apple TV based on the novels of Lars Kepler.\u00a0He is also coming off his Emmy-winning performance in the Netflix series Adol<\/em>escence.
