People who get Supplemental Security Income<\/a> checks won’t get a payment in early March. But that’s no reason to worry. Payday is coming early.<\/p>\n Social Security<\/a> recipients will receive their regular checks. Benefits<\/a> are typically disbursed to almost 74 million people on Wednesdays, and your payment date depends on the day of the month you were born.<\/p>\n Here’s why SSI recipients <\/a>don’t get a check some months but can get paid two or more times in others, what you should know about the upcoming payment schedule.<\/p>\n The federal government usually pays out SSI checks on the first of each month unless the date falls on a weekend or holiday.<\/p>\n Because March 1 falls on a weekend, that check will be released early on Friday, Feb. 27.<\/p>\n The next SSI check after that will be released on Wednesday, April 1. No foolin’.<\/p>\n The Social Security Administration\u2019s\u00a02026<\/a>\u00a0payment schedules are online to help beneficiaries plan their budgets.<\/p>\n Regular Social Security<\/a> retirement benefits will be issued according to the SSA\u2019s standard payment schedule in March:<\/p>\n Supplemental Security Income checks will be sent out on the following dates in 2026, according to\u00a0the SSA calendar<\/a>.<\/p>\n It’s usually sent on the first of the month, but they are disbursed early if the first falls on a weekend or holiday.<\/p>\n People who get both SSI and regular Social Security will be paid three times in October and December.<\/p>\n The regular SSI payment will come on the first, followed by the Social Security check on its usual date and then the SSI funds for the following month will be sent near the end of the month because the next SSI disbursement date falls on a weekend or holiday.<\/p>\n There are almost two dozen Social Security offices in Mississippi.
