After a thrilling conclusion to the round, which saw the likes of <a data-clubhouse-guid=\"864b1935-65cc-fb9b-850d-790e4c8a8d47\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/soccer\/team?id=110\">Internazionale<\/a> and <a data-clubhouse-guid=\"87fe4844-a7cf-c88e-2ebe-aeb57325e990\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/soccer\/team?id=111\">Juventus<\/a> tumble out of the competition, we now know the 16 teams still in contention for Europe&#8217;s most coveted trophy.<\/p>\n<p>That means the draw for the round of 16 is nearly upon us. But who is taking part in this draw, and how will it all go down?<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s everything you need to know about the next big event on the Champions League calendar.<\/p>\n<h2>When is the draw for the round of 16?<\/h2>\n<p>The draw for the knockout playoff round will take place Friday, Feb. 27, at 6 a.m. ET (11 a.m. GMT).<\/p>\n<p>The round-of-16 games will take place March 10-11 and March 17-18.<\/p>\n<h2>Which clubs have made the round of 16?<\/h2>\n<p>The top eight finishers in the league phase went straight through to the round of 16 and are seeded for the draw. These teams are paired based on their final position in the league phase.
