\nThe TGL season is coming down to the wire, with three matches in three days set to determine the structure of the playoffs \u2014 and who will have the chance to win the SoFi Cup.\n<\/div>\n
\nSunday night marks the most anticipated match of the regular season, with the Tiger Woods-led Jupiter Links GC facing off against the Rory McIlroy-led Boston Common Golf.\n<\/div>\n
\nWoods, who remains injured and will not play but will be part of the match regardless, sends out his most impressive lineup of the season with multi-time PGA Tour winner Tom Kim making his season debut.\n<\/div>\n
\nMcIlroy, meanwhile, is hoping his Boston squad can complete the most impressive of turnarounds and go from worst (in Season 1) to first.\n<\/div>\n
\nHere\u2019s everything else you need to know about Sunday\u2019s match \u2014 the first of three days in a row of TGL action.\n<\/div>\n
\nBoston Common Golf: <\/strong>Rory McIlroy, Hideki Matsuyama, Keegan Bradley (sitting: Adam Scott)\n<\/div>\n
\nJupiter Links GC: <\/strong>Max Homa, Akshay Bhatia, Tom Kim (sitting: Tiger Woods, Kevin Kisner)\n<\/div>\n
\n\u2022 Boston Common will clinch the No. 1 seed heading into the playoffs with a win against Jupiter Links OR an overtime loss.\n<\/div>\n
\n\u2022 Boston is on a busy late-season run, as it will play its third match in seven days Sunday night. Its match against Jupiter comes after a 5-2 loss to Atlanta Drive Monday but an impressive 9-2 victory over New York Golf Club the next night.\n<\/div>\n
\n\u2022 With a win over Jupiter, Boston will complete a tidy turnaround from 0-4-1 (and last place) last season to 4-1-0 and the top seed heading into the playoffs.\n<\/div>\n
\n\u2022 In Season 1, Jupiter defeated Boston 4-3 in the first TGL match to ever go into overtime.\n<\/div>\n
\n\u2022 Tom Kim will make his season debut for Jupiter. Kim has had a steady if unspectacular start to his 2026 season on the PGA Tour. He\u2019s made all five cuts but has just one finish higher than a tie for 35th.\n<\/div>\n
\n\u2022 Jupiter broke a five-match losing streak in its last outing, defeating Atlanta Drive GC 8-6.\n<\/div>\n
\n\u2022 Jupiter is also the only team with two matches remaining. It will need to win at least one to keep its playoff hopes alive.\n<\/div>\n
\nBoston and the defending champion Atlanta Drive have already clinched playoff spots.\n<\/div>\n
\nThere are plenty of scenarios still in play over the final three matches, but here are four for Sunday night:\n<\/div>\n
\n\u2022 If Jupiter wins both its matches against Boston (Sunday) and The Bay (Tuesday), it will clinch a playoff spot.\n<\/div>\n
\n\u2022 If Jupiter beats Boston but loses to The Bay, it needs New York to beat Los Angeles (Monday) in regulation to force a tiebreaker (holes won).\n<\/div>\n
\n\u2022 If Jupiter loses to Boston but beats The Bay, it will likely face a tiebreaker scenario to clinch a spot in the playoffs.\n<\/div>\n
\n\u2022 Jupiter is eliminated if it loses to both Boston and The Bay unless both losses are in overtime.\n<\/div>\n
\nMatch begins: 9 p.m. ET \/ 6 p.m. PT on Sportsnet and Sportsnet+\n<\/div>\n
\nAll matches will be played at SoFi Center in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., with the capacity for 1,500 fans in seating that\u2019s wrapped around the playing area \u2013 creating a \u2018greenside\u2019 experience.\n<\/div>\n
\n\u2022 Triples \u2013 nine holes \u2013 three players per team competing in an alternate-shot format.\n<\/div>\n
\n\u2022 Singles \u2013 six holes \u2013 one-on-one, head-to-head competition for the entire hole. Each player from each team plays a total of two full holes during the session.\n<\/div>\n
\n\u2022 Overtime \u2013 if the match is tied after 15 holes, the teams will play a best-of-three, closest-to-the-pin competition to decide the winner, with the hole location and orientation of the green remaining unchanged from the final\/15th hole of the match.\n<\/div>\n
\n\u2022 The shot distance in OT will be between 25-50 yards and decided pre-match by the match official. All players will play from the same spot. The ball must finish on the putting surface to be eligible.\n<\/div>\n
\nFor each match, teams can be awarded up to two points towards their regular-season total based on the following:\n<\/div>\n
\n\u2022 Win in regulation = 2 points\n<\/div>\n
\n\u2022 Win in overtime = 2 points\n<\/div>\n
\n\u2022 Loss in overtime = 1 point\n<\/div>\n
\n\u2022 Loss in regulation = 0 points\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
