Kirsten Dunst<\/a> was husband Jesse Plemons<\/a>\u2019s leading lady for the evening as she accompanied the Fargo<\/em> alum to the 2026 Actor Awards<\/a> on Sunday. Posing alongside the A-listers at the March 1 red carpet event, the Interview With the Vampire<\/em> actress had fans doing a double take as she switched out her go-to sleek blowout while putting a revealing twist on the LBD.\n<\/p>\n Dunst pulled her platinum blonde hair back into a side-parted updo with a large perky black bow atop it, giving her latest red carpet look an unexpected coquette update at Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall. The star cosigned the apron dress trend<\/a> with her signature elegance, turning heads in a completely side-baring and backless design as she supported Plemons<\/a>, who is nominated for his first-ever Actor Award for his role in Bugonia<\/em> opposite Emma Stone.\n<\/p>\n <\/span> As The Spider-Man<\/em> star showed off different angles of the sleeveless LBD, she revealed dainty straps holding the backless and side boob-baring bodice in place. Dunst\u2019s gown added some texture with floral embroidered appliqu\u00e9s on the bodice before billowing out into a ballgown skirt with exaggerated hips and a soft gathered design that hid her side pockets. A pair of black pointy-toed black leather stilettos with chunky heels peeped out from under the full floor-grazing skirt. Dunst accentuated her features with smoky black eyeliner and a soft rose pink lip, adding a major dose of sparkle with a diamond tennis necklace.\u00a0<\/p>\n Meanwhile, Plemons contrasted his wife in an espresso-hued suit with a dual-toned brown and black lapel design and black buttons running down the front of his tailored blazer jacket. He embraced a polarizing black and brown color combination, adding a crisp black dress shirt underneath. A pair of shiny black patent leather dress shoes finished off his look.\n<\/p>\n <\/span> <\/span> Dunst previously opened up about how she and Plemons approach couples dressing on the red carpet, admitting that she\u2019s not the biggest fan of a coordinated style moment.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cWe unconsciously do this a lot,\u201d she joked about her and Plemons\u2019s matching style moments in a September interview with Town & Country<\/em><\/a>. \u201cOne of us changes, though.
