Alix Earle<\/a> is only human.<\/p>\nWhile appearing on the March 4 episode of Drew Barrymore’s<\/a> daytime talk show, The Drew Barrymore Show<\/em><\/a>, <\/em>the social media mogul \u2014 who was there promoting her new skincare line, Reale Actives \u2014 was asked about the “last bad idea she had.”<\/p>\n“Oh, my gosh. Probably texting my ex at, like, five in the morning after going out. Not the best idea,” Earle laughed in a clip<\/a> from the interview.<\/p>\n“But you know what? So human,” Barrymore reassured the 25-year-old social media star.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>Alix Earle in San Francisco for Super Bowl LX festivities on Feb. 8, 2026.

“I was looking with one eye at the phone, and my sister’s like, ‘If you’re gonna send this, at least send it with it all spelled correctly,'” the social media star said, laughing.<\/p>\n
“So she’s helping me check all the spelling on everything, and I’m like, ‘This is so great,'” Earle added, recalling how she was waiting for her mac and cheese to warm up in the microwave as she sent the text.<\/p>\n
“How did you feel after you sent it?” Barrymore asked.<\/p>\n
“Oh, terrible,” Earle replied. Asked if anything came out of the message, Earle’s reply was negative.<\/p>\n
“We haven’t talked since,” she admitted.<\/p>\n
Earle didn’t specify which ex she was referring to in the clip.<\/p>\n
