Celebrini scored 46 goals and 86 points in just 50 games in 2022-23, the most-ever by a 16-year-old in the league. He won both the USHL Player and Rookie of the Year. And he did all this with an early-season bum shoulder, that he got surgery on after the year.<\/p>\n
\u201c[He\u2019s] incredibly tough,\u201d Garman said.<\/p>\n
This campaign made him an early front-runner to be the No. 1 pick of the 2024 draft. And that\u2019s where the San Jose Sharks selected him in June 2024.<\/p>\n
San Jose Hockey Now caught up with Garman, now Notre Dame associate head coach, and he shared some fantastic Celebrini tales.<\/p>\n
