Alongside his crew of untethered musicians and dancers, Byrne presented \u201cLife During Wartime\u201d \u2014 a song released for Talking Heads\u2019 1979 album <em>Fear of Music <\/em>that continues to have relevance <a href=\"https:\/\/nymag.com\/intelligencer\/article\/trump-us-iran-war-why-wars-dont-work-anymore.html\">for obvious reasons<\/a> \u2014 as an artistic, theatrical movement of sorts, complete with footage of ICE agents tripping over themselves while failing to capture a bicyclist. (When <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vulture.com\/article\/david-byrne-playing-psycho-killer-tour.html\">I asked Byrne<\/a> how he would characterize what he\u2019s doing onstage every night, he laughed and responded, \u201cFriends attempt to describe it to me, but I wouldn\u2019t be so presumptuous as to describe it myself.\u201d) I\u2019ve been hoping some sort of official video would be released since then, and luckily it has. This \u201cLife During Wartime\u201d didn\u2019t take place at the Mudd Club or CBGB, but rather during Byrne\u2019s Coachella set this past weekend, where you can see the full scope of what this 73-year-old can do in an orange jumpsuit. \u201cI honestly don\u2019t know where I go from here,\u201d Byrne <a href=\"http:\/\/www.vulture.com\/article\/david-byrne-playing-psycho-killer-tour.html\">also told me<\/a> in our conversation.
