It\u2019s been almost three years since\u00a0NCIS<\/a>: Los Angeles<\/a><\/em> ended<\/a>, but the franchise is still going strong and continues to expand \u2014 and not just on CBS (and Paramount+). This season, Brian Dietzen<\/a> and Diona Reasonover<\/a> have begun hosting a podcast,\u00a0NCIS: Partners & Probies<\/em>, taking fans inside the making of the series with cast, crew, and more. The Tuesday, April 28, episode<\/a> guest was Daniela Ruah<\/a>, who starred as Kensi Blye for all 14 seasons of the\u00a0LA<\/em> spinoff.<\/p>\n When it came time for the fan questions at the end of the interview, she was asked where she thinks fan-favorite couple Kensi and Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen<\/a>) are now. The series ended with their family growing with Kensi\u2019s pregnancy announcement<\/a> (after they\u2019d adopted a teen she encountered during a case previously).<\/p>\n \u201cIn my opinion, I think they\u2019re back to work. I think they both love what they do far too much,\u201d Ruah said on the podcast. \u201cI think they\u2019re both back to work, and I think Mama Deeks is probably helping out with raising little ninja baby Kensi.\u201d<\/p>\n She also thinks they had a baby girl. \u201cIt was never established, but I don\u2019t know. I feel like Kensi would have a tough little girl,\u201d she admitted.<\/p>\n It wasn\u2019t until Season 5 that Kensi and Deeks went on a date, but it took until the following season for them to get together. Their wedding was in Season 10.<\/p>\n Ruah called the developments in Kensi and Deeks\u2019 relationship, from partners and friends to lovers, \u201ca very natural progression\u201d on the Partners & Probies<\/em> podcast. \u201cI thought it was a progression that made sense. I think we always knew off the bat that it would somehow lead in that direction. And Eric and I have great chemistry. For those who don\u2019t know, we\u2019re actually family members at this point,\u201d she added. (She\u2019s married to his brother, David Olsen.)<\/p>\n Since the end of\u00a0NCIS: LA<\/em>, Ruah has reprised her role<\/a> as Kensi on\u00a0the mothership, in the franchise\u2019s 1000th episode<\/a>. She\u2019s also directed<\/a> episodes of\u00a0NCIS<\/em><\/a> and the\u00a0Hawai\u2019i<\/em><\/a> spinoff. So, would she appear again on\u00a0NCIS<\/em>?<\/p>\n \u201cSure,\u201d Ruah said on the podcast.\u00a0\u201cAbsolutely, of course, of course. I love it. People have said multiple times, are you afraid of becoming just attached to this character? And it\u2019s like, no. I played her for so long. She is me.
