The trainers demonstrate each movement in real time, as if coaching a class, so you can follow along and try it for yourself. <\/p>\n<p>The workout takes 25 minutes and features many of the core elements of Aniston\u2019s regimen \u2013 discussed with Coleman below. In other words, you would have to scour Hollywood to find an actor bold enough to take Aniston on in a plank challenge. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cCore strength is something we focus on to keep her body upright and help her move well,\u201d Coleman continues. \u201cShe\u2019s spoken openly about some of her previous injuries [including a back injury sustained in 2021 while filming <em>Murder Mystery 2<\/em>], so we work a lot on her deep core muscles to help protect her back.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The rectus abdominis muscles, responsible for the six-pack shape, are the best-known part of the core musculature. But deeper-lying mid-body muscles such as the transverse abdominis, multifidus, pelvic floor and diaphragm play key roles such as supporting the spine and powering your breath. Keeping them strong improves function, fights frailty and protects you from injury. <\/p>\n<p>Aniston\u2019s deep core work includes plenty of plank variations and stability-focused exercises, as well as bending and rotational movements using the brand\u2019s P3 trainer \u2013 the resistance band pictured above, which connects to the wrist and ankle via velcro straps. <\/p>\n<p>Balance is another key aspect of Aniston\u2019s workouts. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe do a lot of single-leg strength work and stability training,\u201d says Coleman. \u201cI think a good measure of longevity is how well we can keep our body upright. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf we can stand on one leg, drive our raised knee in front of us then extend that leg behind us while balancing, it can be a great way to help people keep their bodies moving well.
