\n Dave Coulier<\/a> is responding to fans who have pointed out his changing appearance following a battle with both tongue cancer and lymphoma.\u00a0<\/p>\n \n In a video shared to the \u201cFull House\u201d star\u2019s Instagram<\/a> on Thursday, the 66-year-old actor explained how treatments for the cancer have impacted him.\u00a0<\/p>\n \n \u201cHi everyone, it\u2019s me Dave, and I haven\u2019t posted in quite a while and\u00a0 the last time I did some of you said that I look differently, and I sound differently, and I do,\u201d he began the video. \u201cAnd what you\u2019re seeing is the side effects of extensive radiation that I went through for carcinoma in my throat.\u201d<\/p>\n \n He continued: \u201cI haven\u2019t been able to eat solid food in months. So I\u2019ve lost 45 pounds, that\u2019s what you\u2019re seeing. And it\u2019s affected my ability to speak, some of you have said that I speak differently. So you\u2019re right on with what you\u2019re seeing and what you\u2019re hearing.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n \n Coulier shared<\/a> earlier this year that he was in remission from tongue cancer, one year after beating stage 3 non-Hodgkin lymphoma.\u00a0 He shared that he underwent 35 rounds of radiation, which were completed in December 2025.\u00a0<\/p>\n \n In the video, he also shared some positive life updates with audiences, explaining that his \u201cprognosis looks good\u201d for both the cancer in his throat and the lymphoma. \u201cSo we\u2019re very pleased with all of that,\u201d he concluded.\u00a0<\/p>\n \n The Instagram post was a joint post between Coulier and his non-toxic wellness brand Awear Market.\u00a0<\/p>\n \n \u201cI never wanted to be the poster boy for cancer, believe me,\u201d Coulier said to \u201cGood Morning America\u201d host Robin Roberts when discussing his health. \u201cBut now I feel like I can encourage [people] to get prostate exams and mammograms.
