Matthew McConaughey<\/a><\/strong> can attest that size matters\u2014at least when it comes to beds.<\/p>\n After he insisted that downsizing the size of your mattress is the best thing you can do for your marriage in his new book Poems & Prayers<\/em>, the Interstellar<\/em> star shared insight into how getting a smaller bed has helped his and wife Camila Alves<\/a><\/strong>\u2019 relationship.<\/p>\n “We have kids, and we go to our friend’s house and he has one of these double king-size beds put together and all the kids sleep in the bed,” Matthew\u2014dad to kids Levi<\/a><\/strong>, 17, Vida<\/a><\/strong>, 15, and Livingston<\/strong>, 12, with Camila\u2014told Fox News<\/a>. “The wife’s on one side with her side table and the husband’s on the other side and it’s great when you got all three kids, but all of a sudden the kids get too big. They’re out of the bed.”<\/p>\n “I wake up one morning, I’m looking over there and Camilla’s like a football field away man,\u201d he continued. \u201cThen you go to bed at night, like you want to snuggle up and, \u2018Well, we\u2019ve got to cover you up.
