He\u2019s a PGA Tour winner who\u2019s come agonisingly close in the majors, and now he\u2019s a Ryder Cup star \u2013 but who is Cameron Young\u2019s wife? Meet Kelsey Dalition. <\/h2>\n

Since reaching the PGA Tour in 2021 and immediately winning Rookie of the Year, it\u2019s been a case of when and not if Cameron Young would etch his name into the history books and lift a trophy on the big stage.<\/p>\n

It took longer than many of us expected, with Young knocking on the door countless times, including at all four majors, before he finally sprinted over the line at the 2025 Wyndham Championship to secure a six-shot win. The victory proved key in securing a debut in the Ryder Cup<\/a> as part of Keegan Bradley\u2019s US team for Bethpage Black<\/a>.<\/p>\n

He\u2019ll be joined there, as he has throughout his journey to the top, by Kelsey Dalition. Young\u2019s wife has been a quiet but constant presence, so let\u2019s find out a little bit more about her, their relationship and their family.<\/p>\n

Who is Cameron Young\u2019s wife?<\/h3>\n

Young and Dalition\u2019s relationship dates back to their days at Wake Forest University, where they both studied, but they\u2019d known each other for most of their lives. They got engaged in 2019, when Young was still grinding through the amateur and developmental circuits, before marrying in a private ceremony in 2021 when Young was just 23 years old. The American star\u2019s former caddie Scott McKean was given the honour of being best man.<\/p>\n

It wasn\u2019t long after tying the knot that the couple became parents. Their first child, Henry, arrived in 2022, while the Youngs were still living with Cameron\u2019s parents in Jupiter, Florida, as he established himself on the PGA Tour.<\/p>\n

In 2023, Young surprised fans when he arrived for the PGA Championship at Oak Hill Country Club minus his famous beard \u2013 a suggestion made by Kelsey.<\/p>\n

\u201cHonestly, my wife just kind of said, why don\u2019t you shave. It wasn\u2019t like \u2026 I don\u2019t think I looked terrible. I don\u2019t know,\u201d Young said. \u201cYeah, I haven\u2019t been clean-shaven probably since our first son was born.\u201d<\/p>\n

Later that same year, and with his career having taken off, Young and Dalition purchased a home of their own in the same area of Florida as his parents, where they still live today. John, their second son, followed in late 2023, and their daughter Vivienne was born soon afterwards, giving them three children under the age of four.<\/p>\n

Despite the challenges of raising a young family while managing the demands of tour life, Young has often spoken about how important his wife and the children are in keeping him balanced. <\/p>\n

\u201cHonestly, they\u2019ve been out with me the last couple weeks and it\u2019s been such a nice change of pace to be with them on the road,\u201d he explained. \u201cI think it just keeps you a little fresher. You get off the course and you can kind of forget about golf a little bit, which is really nice.\u201d<\/p>\n

Dalition, for her part, doesn\u2019t come from a golfing background, something Young has admitted works in his favour. <\/p>\n

\u201cI played hockey for her dad and with her brother. They\u2019re not a golf family at all so Kelsey is kind of still learning the ropes,\u201d he said. <\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s actually great for me, because the last thing I want to do when I get home is answer questions like, \u2018Why\u2019d you pull a 9-iron on 16?\u2019 That would make my head explode, so that\u2019s been a blessing.\u201d<\/p>\n

While Dalition keeps a low profile away from social media, she has been present for some of the family-friendly traditions of the game. She and Henry have both taken part in the Masters Par-3 Contest, where the sight of a toddler in all-white caddie overalls charmed fans. In 2025, she was caught on camera<\/a> at the Genesis Invitational practice rounds with all three children, underlining how family is increasingly part of Cameron\u2019s tour life.<\/p>\n

Her influence extends beyond childcare and support. Ahead of the 2023 PGA Championship at Oak Hill, Young surprised fans by turning up without his trademark beard. When asked about the decision, he admitted: \u201cHonestly, my wife just kind of said, why don\u2019t you shave.\u201d It was a throwaway comment, but it captured the kind of easy balance they share.<\/p>\n

Young has also been candid about how much he values time away from the course with his family. \u201cI have spent a lot of time with my family, my wife. We have a little baby, so spent a lot of family time, which has been great,\u201d he told Golf Digest<\/a> in 2022 during a break from competition. <\/p>\n

It\u2019s clear that while golf is Young\u2019s career, life at home is the anchor.<\/p>\n
