A half-time withdrawal ensued. Still, William Saliba can put his feet up ahead of the weekend. <\/p>\n CB: Gabriel<\/strong>\u2014Piero Hincapi\u00e9\u2019s continued absence means Gabriel is unlikely to come out of the team off the back of his heroics on Tyneside. <\/p>\n LB: Myles Lewis-Skelly<\/strong>\u2014There haven\u2019t been too many opportunities for the youngster at the start of 2025\u201326, but he\u2018s a sure bet to come into the XI on Wednesday. <\/p>\n CM: Christian N\u00f8rgaard<\/strong>\u2014Arsenal don\u2019t require anything spectacular from N\u00f8rgaard. They just need him to stay fit and come in for Mart\u00edn Zubimendi when called upon. <\/p>\n CM: Mikel Merino<\/strong>\u2014Merino\u2019s header ignited Arsenal\u2019s comeback at the weekend, and he could be rewarded with a return to the starting lineup in midweek. <\/p>\n CM: Martin \u00d8degaard<\/strong>\u2014It\u2019s been a slow start to the new season for \u00d8degaard, who\u2019s been set back by a shoulder injury. However, we caught a glimpse of the captain at his best during his cameo at St. James\u2019. He looks ready for a start. <\/p>\n RW: Bukayo Saka<\/strong>\u2014Ethan Nwaneri is another option for Arteta, but the boss has utilised the Hale End starlet centrally so far this season. So Saka, who\u2019s still building up his fitness, may get the nod again. He\u2019ll fancy having a productive night.<\/p>\n ST: Viktor Gy\u00f6keres<\/strong>\u2014Gy\u00f6keres\u2019s display was encouraging on Sunday, and the boss will doubtless be pleased with the number of shots he was able to get off. He\u2019ll be given the chance to cash in on Wednesday. <\/p>\n LW: Gabriel Martinelli<\/strong>\u2014The spritely winger played a key role off the bench in Arsenal\u2019s Gameweek 1 triumph, but Leandro Trossard has been preferred to Martinelli as of late.
