Now, the Chiefs will look to get back on track, hosting Jared Goff and the Detroit Lions at Arrowhead Stadium in Week 6&#8217;s edition of &#8220;Sunday Night Football.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Despite the slow start to the season, Mahomes is still performing at a high level. Through five games, the three-time Super Bowl champion has thrown for 1,257 yards, eight touchdowns and two interceptions while adding a team-high 190 rushing yards and three scores on the ground. Kinstler, a Berklee College of Music graduate, was a finalist on Season 19 of \u201cAmerican Idol,\u201d and has also performed at the Rose Bowl Parade.<\/p>\n<p>The Chiefs also announced that former defensive end Jared Allen will serve as the game\u2019s Drum Honoree, a tradition at Arrowhead Stadium used to kick off each home game. Allen spent his first four NFL seasons with Kansas City from 2004 to 2007, earning his first Pro Bowl and All-Pro selections in his final year with the team. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame earlier this year.<\/p>\n<p>Advertisement<\/p>\n<p>Finally, at halftime of the Chiefs vs. Lions matchup, the Lost Wax Band will perform a tribute to NFL Crucial Catch, an initiative that raises awareness for cancer.
