The \u201cPablo Torre Finds Out\u201d podcast obtained behind-the-scenes footage from Belichick\u2019s 2024 NFL Films show with Matt Patricia. In the footage, Hudson, Belichick\u2019s girlfriend, is seen asking questions about the show\u2019s topics and also the way the graphics reflecting the coaches\u2019 talking points are laid out.<\/p>\n
Belichick, 73, has said that he and Hudson, 24, have a \u201cpersonal and professional\u201d relationship<\/a>. The coach said that after Hudson interrupted his interview with \u201cCBS Sunday Morning\u201d<\/a> to say that Belichick would not be answering a question about their relationship.<\/p>\n Advertisement<\/p>\n After the CBS interview aired, Belichick said Hudson was \u201csimply doing her job to ensure the interview stayed on track\u201d as he wanted to only discuss things that were included in the book he released this year.<\/p>\n Over the course of the clips that aired Friday morning, Hudson continues to ask questions about the look of the graphics and said that she built Belichick\u2019s website. After a discussion, the camera on set captured a conversation between the frustrated couple who may not have known they were still being recorded.<\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t know how they have four full-time graphics people,\u201d Hudson said.<\/p>\n \u201cThey can\u2019t do s***,\u201d Belichick said.<\/p>\n Advertisement<\/p>\n \u201cRight?\u201d Hudson responded.<\/p>\n Torre \u2014 who said there was roughly 30 minutes more of unreleased footage of Hudson from the CBS News interview \u2014 added that he’s been told what unfolded on the scene of Belichick’s NFL Films show last year is similar to interactions that others have had with the couple.<\/p>\n \u201cThis is like the first glimpse anyone has of the dynamic,\u201d Torre said. \u201cThe reason I\u2019m showing it to you, and now everyone, is not \u2018man, let\u2019s cancel Jordon Hudson for her comments on graphics design and leather aesthetics,\u2019 it\u2019s \u2018this is what the power dynamic is like around Bill Belichick,\u2019\u201d Torre said.<\/p>\n \u201cWhat she is showing us inadvertently is, I am told, not dissimilar from what it\u2019s like at Carolina right now. It\u2019s what it\u2019s like at every stop including the CBS interview which we did see in that glimpse. It\u2019s kind of a consistent pattern that everybody who encounters Belichick Productions has attested to in my reporting.\u201d<\/p>\n Advertisement<\/p>\n In addition to taking a role in Belichick\u2019s on-camera work over the past 18 months as part of the role that was created for her at Belichick Productions, Hudson has also been filing for trademarks.<\/a> This spring, she filed for numerous trademarks and four of them \u2014 all relating to rights held by the New England Patriots \u2014 were denied.<\/p>\n Tension between Belichick and his former employer has been one of the numerous storylines to North Carolina\u2019s 2-3 start in 2025. Patriots scouts are not allowed to visit North Carolina\u2019s facilities.<\/a> As Belichick put it, \u201cIt\u2019s clear that I\u2019m not welcome around their facility and so they\u2019re not welcome at ours. Pretty simple.\u201d<\/p>\n The podcast episode was not the first dedicated to Hudson\u2019s role at North Carolina. In the spring, North Carolina disputed a report from Torre that said Hudson had been banned from North Carolina\u2019s facilities.<\/p>\n \u201cPTFO\u201d also pointed out that Hudson wore a necklace that said \u201cbanned\u201d to North Carolina\u2019s first game of the season against TCU.
