Los Angeles Dodgers star Max Muncy and his wife, Kellie Muncy, built their life around baseball<\/a>. And she wouldn’t have it any other way.\n<\/p>\n “The emotion just comes out when he plays, like you can see how much he loves the game,” Kellie said during a June 2025 interview on the Talk Dodgers to Me<\/em><\/a> podcast. “He loves the Dodgers. He loves being a part of a team.”\n<\/p>\n She added, “He always says if he can do anything to help the team win, even if that means walking four times in a game, not getting a hit, he’ll take that any day.”<\/p>\n After getting married in November 2018, the couple welcomed two children. Sophie Kate Muncy was born in July 2021, and Wyatt James Muncy arrived almost two years later in April 2023. In July 2025, Kellie announced on Instagram<\/a> that she was pregnant with their third child.\n<\/p>\n So, who is Max Muncy’s wife? Here’s everything to know about Kellie Muncy and her relationship with the pro baseball player.\n<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/span> Kellie was born and raised in Texas. In her Talk Dodgers to Me <\/em>interview, Kellie revealed that she was more of a football fan growing up. However, a college friend got her into baseball while they were in school \u2014 which she’s thankful for, considering how much of her life revolves around the sport now.<\/p>\n “I feel like if you don’t like baseball and you get into this, like you’re going to go crazy,” she joked on the podcast. “You have to like it at least a little bit.”\n<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/span> Kellie and Max first crossed paths at Baylor University in Waco, Texas, where she was studying fashion merchandising, according to her\u00a0LinkedIn<\/a>. The two met in their freshman year, but the infielder was in a relationship at the time and they remained friends throughout school.<\/p>\n She told Talk Dodgers to Me <\/em>that they reconnected two or three years after graduating.\n<\/p>\n “[We] just happened to be back at a football game together that weekend and ran into each other and just kind of immediately hit it off,” she said, noting that he was only in town because he was recovering from an injury. “It was just kind of meant to be how it worked out.”\n<\/p>\n After graduating with her bachelor’s degree in 2013, she worked as an associate buyer for a luxury brand in Texas until 2018.\n<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/span> 2018 was a big year for the couple. Not only did Max make his debut on the Dodgers, per FiveThirtyEight<\/a>, but he and Kellie also tied the knot.<\/p>\n “As this year has officially come to a close, I\u2019m not quite sure I\u2019ll ever be able to put into words how emotional this season has been for us,” she captioned an October 2018 Instagram<\/a> post following the end of the season. “I couldn\u2019t be more proud of everything you\u2019ve accomplished these past 6 months and how hard you worked to earn it … NOW…. let\u2019s go back home and get married!!!”\n<\/p>\n The two wed a month later on Nov. 17, 2018. Kellie shared the news on Instagram<\/a>, writing that it was the “best day” of her “entire life.”<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/span> The couple are proud parents of two kids.<\/p>\n Their daughter, Sophie, was born on July 23, 2021. In an Instagram<\/a> post announcing her arrival, Kellie wrote that she had “stolen” their hearts and called her their “whole world.” Nearly two years later, on April 24, 2023, they welcomed Wyatt, whom she described on Instagram<\/a> as a “sweet boy.”\n<\/p>\n In July 2025, Kellie shared that they are now expecting their third child. “And the tie breaker goes to … GIRL \ud83e\ude77,” she captioned a series of family photos on the beach. “[We] are beyond thankful for the blessing of adding another sweet baby to our family \ud83d\udc76\ud83c\udffc.”\n<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/span> From the start of his Dodgers career, Kellie has been a staple in the stands \u2014 often bringing her kids or their dog in tow. Though she’s been vocal about how proud she is of her husband, she’s opened up about one of the tougher parts of being a baseball wife: online criticism.<\/p>\n “I’ve gotten messages in the past like, ‘Hey, your husband lost me $200 that he’s paid millions to do. Do you mind Venmoing me?’ ” she said on Talk Dodgers to Me<\/em>. “And I’m like, ‘I didn’t tell you to do that.’ ”\n<\/p>\n Because of the negativity on social media, Kellie said Max takes the apps off his phone during the season.
