\n EXCLUSIVE: <\/strong>Two-time Oscar winner Chlo\u00e9 Zhao and Nicolas Gonda<\/a> have just opened the doors to Kodansha Studios<\/a>, a new global studio dedicated to creating premium, live-action movies and television series based on hit manga properties. <\/p>\n \n Kodansha Studios will leverage the Kodansha library, which is the leading Japanese publisher behind such beloved manga as\u00a0Akira<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Attack on Titan<\/em>, to create films and series spanning romance, drama, horror and event-level action and fantasy.\u00a0Kodansha will connect international filmmakers with renowned Japanese manga authors, developing and packaging premium adaptations.<\/p>\n \n Nomadland <\/em>filmmaker Zhao will serve as Chief Creative Officer, while Gonda is President and Chief Operations Officer.
