A new report says that due to the success of Demon Slayer <\/em>and Chainsaw Man <\/em>movies, a new movie is being planned for Solo Leveling,<\/em> which recently rocketed up to become Crunchyroll\u2019s most popular anime of all time. <\/p>\n This is not official, but there are indications that the existence of the film is true. The original report comes from RANSCPP <\/a>and has been shared by other reliable leakers, but past, that it also appears to be in a D&C Media Marketing Report<\/u><\/a>, the original publisher of Solo Leveling.<\/em><\/p>\n The other part of this is when<\/em> the movie will arrive. RANSCPP says in the second half of 2026, which could be under a year away. The D&C report, in contrast, does not specify a date. <\/p>\n At the very least, the desire<\/em> to make a Solo Leveling<\/em> movie is believable. It would both serve as a gap-filler with season 3 of the show not out until at least 2028, and it would\u2026likely make a ton of money. The Demon Slayer<\/em> movies, Mugen Train<\/em> and Infinity Castle,<\/em> have made $486 million and $670 million, respectively. The less popular Chainsaw Man Reze Arc<\/em> movie has still made $141 million. There\u2019s no telling how much a Solo Leveling<\/em> movie could make, given its recent popularity and the desire of fans to get more of the show without having to wait three years.<\/p>\n What we do know, officially, is that Netflix is making a live-action Solo Leveling<\/em> show, one which already has cast its major heroes. That project has no release date yet, but presumably, the hope is that it can be a hit among fans, similar to how the One Piece<\/em> series was an instant success and will run at least three seasons with early greenlights. But live-action anime adaptations are always a risk.<\/p>\n So, the studio making a Solo Leveling <\/em>movie is believable, even if it\u2019s not official. That release window seems pretty much impossible.
