Candace Cameron Bure<\/strong><\/a> has gone through many \u201cseasons\u201d in her life, many of which have tested her and Valeri Bure<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s marriage.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere are days I wrestle with brokenness. I have experienced that,\u201d Cameron Bure, 49, exclusively told Us Weekly<\/em> on Tuesday, November 4, while promoting her new book, Rise and Renew: A 30-Day Devotional to Heal a Hurting Heart, Overcome Emotional Pain, and Grow in Your Faith \u2013 Interactive Devotions with Bible \u2026 and Creative Exercises (One Step Closer)<\/em><\/a>. \u201cI mean, we all do. I don\u2019t know that it\u2019s [something] I feel daily, but there have been seasons of that in my life.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Full House<\/em><\/a> alum noted there have been \u201cso many\u201d difficult seasons in her life, but with Bure, 51, by her side, she has been able to weather them.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think that there\u2019s always been a struggle with work and family life balance. I think so many women experience that,\u201d Cameron Bure explained of her personal ups and downs.<\/p>\n

The actress revealed that while she and Bure have an \u201cincredible, wonderful\u201d relationship, after 29 years of marriage they have also had \u201cvalleys of real struggle,\u201d which in time they built \u201cback up.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThere were times of deep brokenness that I felt. But God is in the restoration business,\u201d Cameron Bure explained, noting that she talks about her relationship, family and faith journey in her new book. \u201c[God] loves to restore and make all things new, and he certainly has.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cameron Bure previously revealed on her \u201cCandace Cameron Bure Podcast\u201d<\/a> in July that she and Bure went through a \u201crough season,\u201d before their eldest son, Lev, 25, guided them back to each other.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ll never forget, \u2018cause he said, \u2018You know, I know I haven\u2019t been married. I\u2019m just a young kid. And so it\u2019s probably hard to take marriage advice from someone this young [who] never experienced it before. But I don\u2019t need to be married to know what the word of God says,\u2019\u201d the Timeless Tidings of Joy<\/em><\/a> actress recalled.<\/p>\n

Cameron Bure, who also shares daughter Natasha, 27, and son Maksim, 23, with the retired NHL player, told Us<\/em> on Tuesday that her \u201cvow and commitment\u201d to Bure \u201cwas always there even though we got to a breaking point.\u201d<\/p>\n

Once she and Bure acknowledged \u201cwe don\u2019t actually want\u201d to be in a bad place as a couple, they started to work on repairing the fractures in their marriage.<\/p>\n

\u201cSometimes within relationships, we have to break it down, like, into just what seems like so many broken pieces, but then when you put them all together, you really can build it even better,\u201d Cameron Bure shared.<\/p>\n

Luckily, for Cameron Bure and her husband, whom she wed in 1996<\/a>, their efforts to fix their relationship have been successful.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m more in love with my husband today than when we met. He is truly my best friend,\u201d she gushed. \u201cWe\u2019re in a different season of life because our kids are grown<\/a>. We have two that are married, and you have to find your relationship again when the kids get older. And so we\u2019re in this great season of life.\u201d<\/p>\n

Candace Cameron Bure is not afraid to keep it real when discussing the highs and lows of married life. Cameron Bure told Us<\/em> that her ups and downs in marriage were part of the inspiration behind her new book, Rise and Renew<\/em><\/a>, which goes on sale this month.<\/p>\n

\u201cI actually wrote it during the pandemic. \u2026 That really was the time where we were all going through a lot,\u201d the Home Sweet Christmas<\/em> star explained. \u201cThere were hardships<\/a>, not just because of covid and being on lockdown and all of that, but just differences in my family life, even within my marriage.\u201d<\/p>\n

She recalled, \u201cI needed to really reflect on what was true and right and not let my thoughts spin. And so that\u2019s where the book really came from.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cameron Bure revealed that the book is formatted as a 30-day devotional asking the reader to \u201cspend really five minutes, 10 minutes in the word.\u201d<\/p>\n
