It also showcases larger-scale action scenes, particularly on the sea, and the Camp Half-Blood chariot race that\u2019s a key sequence early in Riordan\u2019s novel.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n    The logline for season two reads, \u201cAfter Camp Half-Blood\u2019s protective border is breached, Percy Jackson embarks on an epic odyssey into the Sea of Monsters in search of his best friend Grover and the one thing that may save the camp \u2014 the legendary Golden Fleece. With help from Annabeth, Clarisse and his newfound cyclops half-brother Tyson, Percy\u2019s survival becomes essential to stopping Luke (Charlie Bushnell), the Titan Kronos, and their impending plan to bring down Camp Half-Blood \u2014 and ultimately, Olympus.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n    Season two\u2019s guest cast includes returnees Lin-Manuel Miranda, Jason Mantzoukas, Glynn Turman,  Virginia Kull, Adam Copeland and Toby Stephens. Timothy Simons, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/tv\/tv-news\/percy-jackson-courtney-b-vance-zeus-1236070629\/\">Courtney B. Vance<\/a> \u2014 who takes over the role of Zeus from the late Lance Reddick \u2014 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/tv\/tv-news\/andra-day-percy-jackson-and-the-olympians-season-2-athena-1236057971\/\">Andra Day<\/a>, Sandra Bernhard, Margaret Cho, Kristen Schaal, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/tv\/tv-news\/percy-jackson-olympians-cc-polyphemus-rosemarie-dewitt-aleks-paunovic-1236091726\/\">Rosemarie DeWitt and Aleks Paunovic<\/a> are among the new additions to the ensemble.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n    Riordan and Jonathan E. Steinberg created <em>Percy Jackson and the Olympians<\/em> and executive produce season two with Dan Shotz, Rebecca Riordan, Craig Silverstein, Bert Salke, The Gotham Group\u2019s Ellen Goldsmith-Vein, Jeremy Bell and D.J.
