More snowflakes possible tonight, slick spots tomorrow

Spread the love

Snowflakes could fall in Northwest Arkansas tonight

I’m meteorologist Cole Mackus, hope you’re enjoying your Monday first day of December, and it certainly felt like it and looked like it out there at times and *** bit, *** bit of *** wintry mix to work with during our morning. I left *** few slick spots on the roads. Now the system is still going to push past us. We’re in *** bit of *** dry slot right now, and the better precipitation actually has been off to our east, uh, for most of the day. But we could still see *** little bit of freezing drizzle possible in the river valley, and then we also during the evening hours have to watch for *** few more snowflakes in northwest Arkansas. Some of us some of us saw *** few snowflakes earlier today, and we could see *** little bit more with the last of the system that will pass by. Now most of this will stay to our north in Missouri, but *** few of us in West Arkansas anyways could see *** few more snowflakes. Of course, any accumulation we get with snow will be quite minimal, uh, maybe just *** dusting at best, uh, if we do get any snow at all. This will look to push on out by tonight, and it’ll be another cold night tonight. Lows will be in the twenties for your morning on Tuesday. Definitely going to need *** jacket, uh, to say the least. *** bit of *** cold start for your Tuesday, and we’ll, we’ll, we will be mostly sunny during the day. We’re only going to be warming up into the 40s, only just *** little warmer than we were today. High pressure will be in place though, so we will see warmer temperatures for your Wednesday, partly cloudy during your day on Wednesday, and lows will be just *** touch warmer than what we saw for what we will see for your Tuesday morning. And then highs by Wednesday will actually be in the upper 40s to low 50s, with that high pressure in place. So *** bit of *** warmer Wednesday, uh, for sure. Now, there will be another cold front that swings through after that and brings our temperatures back down. Uh, for the end of the workweek, we’ll have more on that and the rest of your forecast if you tune in for 5 and 6 on ABC, 9 on the CW, and 10 on ABC. We hope to see you then.
