As another winter dawns on Tennessee, Bonnaroovians are dreaming of warmer, groovier days. Specifically: Bonnaroo 2026.

After 2025’s mid-festival cancellation due to flooding and rain, the Manchester, Tennessee music festival is set to return in summer 2026 with improvements to The Farm.

Dec. 1 brought confirmation of the festival’s first act, followed by the full lineup announcement on Dec. 2 previewed with a billboard announcing headliners Skrillex, The Strokes, RÜFÜS DU SOL and Noah Kahan.

Here’s what we know so far as well as the changes happening on the festival’s grounds during the off season.

When is Bonnaroo 2026?

Bonnaroo is returning to The Farm in Manchester, Tennessee from June 11 to 14, 2026.

Who is confirmed for Bonnaroo 2026?

A Bonnaroo billboard overlooking Broadway near Interstate 40 in Nashville announced the headliners for each night of the festival early on Dec. 2. The announcement was followed by the full lineup drop, including GRiZ, Turnstile, Teddy Swims, The Neighbourhood, Role Model and Kesha, who will curate the festival’s 2026 Superjam, “KESHA PRESENTS: SUPERJÂM ESOTERÍCA: THE ALCHEMY OF POP.”

Another special set will come from “Weird Al” Yankovic, who will perform the late-night “Bigger & Weirder Saturday Late Night Roovue.”

Buzzy band Geese, rocker Yungblud and punk rock favorites Amyl & The Sniffers are other lineup favorites.

Folk rock group Mt. Joy was first to confirmed they will perform on June 12 while announcing the new dates on their North American headline tour.

The band was set to play Bonnaroo ’25 on June 14, but the festival was canceled before they could take the stage.

The “Astrovan” group made their Grand Ole Opry debut in Nashville on June 4.

Who was rumored to play Bonnaroo 2026? Did you guess the ‘Roo Clues’?

According to the Festive Owl, a popular online source for insider music festival information, EDM artist Skrillex is set to headline June 11 at the festival’s new welcome party. That would be confirmed by the Nashville Bonnaroo billboard.

This will be Skrillex’s first return to the farm in 12 years.

According to the festival’s “Roo Clues,” a series of posts that hint to artists on the lineup, fans are speculating about some of the other acts on the bill.

One clue, which showed empty wine glasses, has online sleuths guessing pop singer Role Model will hit the stage. His song “Sally, When The Wine Runs Out,” tipped them off.

A hint with a shattered disco ball may point to The Dare, who has a tune called “I Destroyed Disco.”

Other speculated acts include Turnover, Amyl & The Sniffers and Daily Bread.

Who had canceled sets for Bonnaroo 2025?

Some fans speculate artists with canceled sets may return to The Farm for 2026 to bring their overdue shows to life.

Some of these acts include: Aly & AJ, Arcade Fire, Avril Lavigne, Beabadoobee, Dispatch, Effin, Glass Animals, GloRilla, Hozier, Matt Champion, Nelly, Remi Wolf, RL Grime, Tyla and Vampire Weekend.

When does the 2026 Bonnaroo lineup usually come out?

The Bonnaroo lineup is usually announced in January, with the 2025 lineup announced on January 8.

Why was Bonnaroo 2025 canceled?

On June 13, Bonnaroo was canceled mid-festival due to severe weather in Manchester, Tennessee, sending 80,000 fans packing from The Farm on the second day of the event.

Bonnaroo’s Thursday sets, which included Dom Dolla and Luke Combs, went off without a hitch on June 12.

When pelting rain and lightning began on June 13, the Bonnaroo team evacuated the main festival grounds around 1:30 p.m., sending fans to their vehicles in the campgrounds.

For the next six hours, both gentle showers and torrential thunderstorms rained down, dropping about an inch of rain on Manchester, according to the National Weather Service.

Around 7:30 p.m., the festival announced it’d be calling off the rest of the weekend on social media.

The crew had gotten updates from the National Weather Service, which anticipated another two inches of rain on both Saturday and Sunday. Tennessee has experienced one of its wettest years with above normal rainfall.

What improvements is The Farm undergoing for Bonnaroo 2026?

On July 17, Bonnaroo posted on social media that the festival would be returning in 2026, but there would be some changes.

Campsites in flooding-prone areas will no longer be used, leading to reduced capacity.

Camping entry will now begin on Wednesday — later than previous years — and stages in Centeroo will only be fully programmed Friday through Sunday, eliminating Thursday, which will now include a welcome party with a headliner.

According to a November video on Bonnaroo’s Instagram, the festival has worked to improve their grounds through turf management during the off season.

They’ve seeded 135 acres of Bermuda grass and plan to improve some of the stormwater management systems site wide. They are also significantly expanding the road system.
