Deni Avdija finished with 27 points, eight rebounds and seven assists and Toumani Camara added 17 points, six rebounds and four assists in the win, which came on the second game of a back-to-back. … The Blazers’ bench outscored its counterparts 46-24 as and Shaedon Sharpe (20 points, nine rebounds, five assists and two steals) and Caleb Love (20 points and five rebounds) shined in backup roles. It was the first time this season the Blazers had more than one player record 20 or more points off the bench. … Camara made 3 of 5 three-pointers in the win and has made 14 of 25 long-range shots over his last three games. … Avdija is averaging 30.0 points, 10.3 rebounds and 9.8 assists over his last four games and is one of four players in the NBA averaging at least 25.0 points, 7.0 rebounds and 6.0 assists per game, joining Luka Doncic, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Nikola Jokic. … The Pistons have been one of the biggest early-season surprises in the NBA. They sit atop the Eastern Conference standings and have the second-most wins in the league, thanks in part to a 13-game winning streak that stretched from Oct. 29 to Nov. 24. … Detroit has shown a few warts lately, however, dropping three of its last five games. Portland: Donovan Clingan (lower left leg bruise), Kris Murray (left hip bruise) and Robert Williams III (left knee) are questionable, and Scoot Henderson (left hamstring tear), Damian Lillard (left Achilles tendon), Matisse Thybulle (left thumb surgery), Blake Wesley (right foot fracture) and Jrue Holiday (right calf strain) are out.
