LEXINGTON — Kentucky basketball wraps up its nonconference slate today by welcoming an in-state school to Rupp Arena.

UK hosts Bellarmine this afternoon. This will be second all-time meeting between the Wildcats and Knights. In the previous matchup, Kentucky earned a 60-41 victory in Lexington on Nov. 29, 2022.

UK and coach Mark Pope enter today’s game on a three-game win streak, upping their record to 8-4 on the season. Bellarmine is 5-6 in 2025-26; it’s lost all three contests it’s had versus power-conference foes this season, falling to Georgia, Kansas State and Notre Dame. Of note: The Knights trailed the Fighting Irish by 22 with approximately six minutes to play before a spirited rally drew the visitors within five with 17.2 ticks to go. (Bellarmine went on to lose by seven, 86-79.)
