Memphis Grizzlies vs Utah Jazz live score updates, highlights

The Memphis Grizzlies have one more game before a quick two-day holiday break, with a game against the Jazz in Utah.

This is their second meeting of the season; Utah (10-18) beat Memphis 130-126 on Dec. 12 at FedExForum.

If the Grizzlies (13-16) are to have a better result this time, they will need to slow down Keyonte George and Lauri Markkanen. George erupted for 39 points and Markkanen added 26 in Utah’s win.

Ja Morant had 21 points and 10 assists, but he will be out for this game with a left ankle sprain. His status is day to day, per coach Tuomas Iisalo.

Grizzlies rookie Cedric Coward is questionable to play due to left heel soreness. Fellow rookie Javon Small, however, could make his return from a left turf toe injury.

Small is averaging 4.3 points and 2.8 assists in eight games. He last played on Nov. 7.

Memphis had won five consecutive games over Utah prior to the Dec. 12 loss. Utah holds a 68-42 advantage in the all-time series.
