As the Philadelphia 76ers prepare to face the Chicago Bulls on Friday to begin a 5-game road trip, they might have some reinforcements return to the floor.
After the initial injury report said that VJ Edgecombe, Quentin Grimes, and Dominick Barlow were all questionable for the matchup with the Bulls due to each having an illness, they all have since been upgraded to probable for this contest. All three players missed Tuesday’s home loss to the Brooklyn Nets with an illness.
As for Joel Embiid (right knee injury management), he remains questionable to play. The big fella did suffer a brief scare in the third quarter on Tuesday when he fell while grabbing at his right knee. He left for the locker room before returning and finishing the game.
The Sixers and the Bulls will tip off at 7:30 p.m. EST from the United Center on Friday. Philadelphia will be looking to avenge a loss to the Bulls from back on Nov. 4 when it saw a 24-point lead slip away.
