The Zodiac Breakaway Flea and Tick Collar for Cats begins to kill fleas and ticks immediately. The active ingredient will work its way from the surface of the collar onto your pet’s coat, providing continuous protection against fleas and ticks for 7 months. Its full protection against harder-to-kill ticks will be built up within a few days after being placed on the pet. The collar kills fleas and ticks common to cats, including the Deer tick, which may carry Lyme disease, and the Rocky Mountain wood tick, which may carry Rocky Mountain spotted fever.
To activate the collar, hold at each end and … STRETCH… and it’s ready for your cat to wear. Follow on-pack instructions for the perfect fit. Rain and water will not impair the collar’s effectiveness for outdoor cats. The breakaway feature reduces the risk of neck injury to your cat. It is recommended that your cat’s bedding and areas your cat uses often be treated for fleas and ticks with products registered for this use. Do not use on kittens under 12 weeks of age and weighing less than 5 pounds (lbs).
