Ranks #1 in the Key A25-54 Demo for Q4 and Season-to-Date
Wins #1 in Both Key Demos for the First Time in Four Years
January 2, 2026 – Meet the Press with Kristen Welker was ranked the #1 Sunday public affairs show for both A25-54 and A18-49 demo viewers in 2025 for the first time in four years, according to Nielsen.
In 2025, Meet the Press averaged 459,000 A25-54 viewers, leading ABC by +85,000 (+23%) and CBS by +37,000 (+9%). Meet the Press averaged 294,000 A18-49 viewers in 2025, leading ABC by +45,000 (+18%) and tied with CBS, which continues to rate for just 30 minutes of its hour-long broadcast. This marks the second consecutive year that Meet the Press has outperformed ABC in both A25-54 and A18-49 viewers. Meet the Press is also posting its closest total viewer gap vs. ABC in four years.
In 2025 Q4, Meet the Press ranked #1 among the A25-54 viewers, marking its sixth consecutive quarter winning the key demo. In Q4, Meet the Press averaged 424,000 A25-54 viewers, leading ABC by +74,000 (+21%) and CBS by +25,000 (+6%) and averaged 278,000 A18-49 viewers, leading ABC by +42,000 (+18%). Compared to last 2025 Q3, Meet the Press was up in A18-49 and total viewers.
Meet the Press was the #1 Sunday public affairs show among key A25-54 demo viewers for the 2024-25 broadcast season and continues to rank #1 in A25-54 demo viewers in the 2025-26 season-to-date.
Compared to November, in December, Meet the Press increased its total viewership, reaching its largest viewership in seven months. Meet the Press has never lost a month in the Washington, D.C. market among total viewers.
In 2025, Meet the Press featured exclusive interviews with President Donald Trump, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche, Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-Calif.), Gov. Josh Shapiro (D-Pa.), and more.
