CBS is bringing its journalistic makeover to the weekends, too.

“CBS Saturday Morning,” the TV news network’s weekend newscast and sister program to “CBS Mornings,” has named Adriana Diaz and Kelly O’Grady as its new hosts, CBS News announced on Friday, Jan. 9.

Diaz and O’Grady, both veterans of CBS News, serve as replacements for anchors Michelle Miller and Dana Jacobson, who hosted the show from 2018-2025. The TV journalists are set to officially take over on Saturday, Jan. 10.

Since November, “CBS Saturday Morning” has had a rotating cast of fill-in anchors, including Vladimir Duthiers, Lindsey Reiser, Anthony Mason, Meg Oliver, Michael George, Diaz and O’Grady.

“We want our audience to walk away with a better understanding of the stories that are shaping their lives and the world around them,” “CBS Mornings” executive producer Shawna Thomas said in a statement. “Adriana and Kelly’s unique blend of experience will make that possible. We are excited for our viewers to start their weekends with them.”

Diaz and O’Grady’s appointment comes a month after “CBS Mornings” host Tony Dokoupil was named the new anchor of “CBS Evening News.”

Diaz, who joined CBS News in 2012, has previously hosted “CBS Mornings Plus” and the Saturday edition of “CBS Weekend News.” She was also part of the news team that won an Emmy Award for outstanding news special for “39 Days,” a 2018 documentary about the student movement sparked by the Parkland, Florida, school shooting.

“[‘Saturday Morning’] is a true family that has always welcomed and given me incredible opportunities to tell in-depth stories,” Diaz said in a statement. “The show has a long history of phenomenal journalists who have led it, and I hope to honor that legacy alongside Kelly, who is a wonderful partner.”

O’Grady joined the CBS News Network in 2024 as a MoneyWatch correspondent. Additionally, the business and finance reporter has covered various sports stories such as NCAA athletes navigating NIL (name, image, likeness) deals and the upcoming Milan Olympics.

“Helping people start their weekend in a thoughtful and uplifting way is a responsibility I deeply value. I’m thrilled to undertake that with Adriana,” O’Grady said in a statement. “And at a time when economic issues are shaping people’s everyday decisions, I’m proud to continue my business reporting to help provide clarity and context when it matters most.”

Despite their new hosting gig, Diaz and O’Grady will alternate daily cohosting for the “CBS News 24/7 Mornings” newscast on CBS’ streaming news network.

“CBS Saturday Morning” airs on CBS on Saturdays at 7 a.m. ET.
