Blake Krass dives into his favorite Christian Kirk prop bet for the Houston Texans vs. New England Patriots Divisional Round matchup.
New England is a three-point home favorite at -175 on the Moneyline on DraftKings Sportsbook. The game total is set at 40.5 points.
Here are my top Christian Kirk prop bets for the Texans vs. Patriots Divisional Round matchup on Sunday.
Best Christian Kirk Prop Bets
Christian Kirk could be in for a big game against the Patriots on Sunday. Houston will be without standout receiver Nico Collins for this game. That means quarterback C.J. Stroud will need other players to step up. In the Wild Card against the Steelers, that player was Christian Kirk. After a quiet season, mixed with injuries and lack of performance, Kirk had his best game as a Texan when they needed him most. The veteran caught eight balls for 144 yards and a touchdown against the Steelers. He was the go-to guy for Stroud in key situations and was able to get open on the deep ball as well.
My favorite Christian Kirk prop against the Patriots is for the wideout to have a longest reception over 17.5 yards. Against the Steelers, Stroud completed passes to Kirk for 33 yards, 36 yards and 46 yards. That is three explosive passing plays against a generally tough Steelers defense. Kirk should be able to generate more explosive plays against the Patriots. The Texans aren’t going to be able to run the ball effectively against an elite Patriots run defense, which means Stroud will need to be aggressive when pushing the ball down the field. Kirk should be his first look against any cornerback other than Christian Gonzalez. In those instances, Kirk should come up with at least one of the explosive plays that he did against Pittsburgh.
