Roxanne Perez sustained a puncture wound to her face during her match on the January 30th edition of SmackDown in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Perez teamed with Liv Morgan to face Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss. Following the match, Perez alleged that Flair’s ring gear caused the injury.
The incident occurred during tag-team action. The match continued, and Perez finished the contest. The severity of the injury is currently unknown, but Perez has commented on the incident. Perez is still scheduled to compete in the women’s Royal Rumble match.

Perez followed up with: “The referee should’ve disqualified Charlotte for using her gear as a weapon!!!! I was stabbed!!!”
