Raleigh-Durham International Airport leaders said the power has been restored after a brief outage on Friday at the airport.
Duke Energy leaders said an equipment issue caused the outage that impacted 1,800 customers, including at RDU.
RDU officials said they worked with Duke
Energy crews to resolve the issues as quickly as possible, and backup
generators were running. The power was back on around 6:30 p.m. Friday.
It is unclear if the outage has impacted any flights.
