CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – A cold front will be tracking through the area tomorrow.
This front will bring strong winds and a significant drop in temperatures by the afternoon.
A Wind Advisory is in effect for a handful of counties from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Occasional gusts up to 50 mph are possible out of the southwest, which is the threshold for a few power outages and difficult travel for high profile vehicles.
Meanwhile, high temperatures reach the mid and upper 50s for most locations this afternoon.
However, a lake breeze has developed, keeping the lakeshore in the low and mid 40s.
A “murkier” day is also in store with more clouds than sun and a bit of fog that lingers into the early afternoon.
Scattered showers are possible during the daytime, but a widespread rain arrives tonight.
Embedded within this rain is the potential for a few thunderstorms with downpours and gusty winds.
The risk for severe weather is low overall.
Low temperatures hover in the 40s overnight.
Rain exits early Friday morning.
Temperatures climb to the low 50s through midday Friday then begin dropping during the afternoon to the 40s and eventually 30s by sunset.
A strong southwest wind increases to between 15 and 25 mph with occasional gusts up to 50 mph.
Some flakes may fly in the colder air Friday afternoon, but no accumulation is expected as temperatures stay enough above freezing.
Saturday will be dry under a mostly cloudy sky as high temperatures only reach the upper 30s.
Snow showers are likely Sunday and Monday with afternoon temperatures in the low 30s.
Though the snow exits by Tuesday, it remains cold for one more day before moderating back to the 40s on Wednesday with another chance for showers.
