The forecast in New York — 46 degrees as he arrived — didn’t call for a look as warm as this one, but Gilgeous-Alexander still pulled it off. He also enters the matchup with some merited swagger: Gilgeous-Alexander is undefeated against the Knicks in New York. He dropped 39 points on 15-of-21 shooting in a 126-101 victory at the Garden in January 2025.
Heading into Wednesday, the 27-year-old is averaging 31.8 points and 6.4 assists per game. He missed Oklahoma City’s Tuesday night game against the Chicago Bulls to manage an abdominal injury that sidelined him most of February.
