Priyanka Chopra Jonas Returns to Oscars After 9 Years in High Slit Dress

Hollywood’s biggest night has been made even bigger with celebrities like Alicia Silverstone and Gwyneth Paltrow returning to the Oscars 2026 after more than a decade away. And now, Priyanka Chopra Jonas is joining the club for grand Academy Awards comebacks.

The Quantico alum just touched down at Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, California, in her glamorous best, marking Jonas’s first Oscars in nine years. The actress shut down the red carpet in a white Dior gown with a strapless neckline, ruched midsection, and black-and-white tulle ruffled detailing along a hip-high leg slit. Just hours before she hit the carpet, Jonas teased her 94.3 million Instagram followers, posting a cheeky behind-the-scenes video to her Story of someone altering her gown. “Last minute.com,” she quipped in the caption. She accessorized with a striking Bvlgari diamond-and-emerald collar necklace from the High Jewelry collection, Eclettica.

Jonas had some surprises up her sleeve when it came to beauty, styling her long brunette hair in side-parted Old Hollywood-inspired finger curls with a glowy complexion (courtesy of Dr. Althea products), shimmery shadow, and brick-color lip.

The Baywatch star’s look wasn’t complete without some arm candy, a.k.a. her handsome hubby Nick Jonas. The “Sucker” hitmaker cleaned up nice in a black velvet tuxedo and bow-tie.

Priyanka will take the stage tonight to hand over a golden statuette to a lucky star. She is among a prestigious group of presenters, which includes the likes of Adrien Brody, Kieran Culkin, Mikey Madison, Zoe Saldaña, Javier Bardem, Demi Moore, Chris Evans, Chase Infiniti, Hathaway, and Paltrow, among others.

The last time Priyanka graced the ceremony was 2017, when she stepped out in a quilted white-and-silver gown. The Ralph & Russo couture creation featured a strapless neckline, low back, side cutouts, a figure-hugging silhouette, and a floor-grazing skirt. She paired the dress with a shimmery bangle on each wrist and matching drop earrings. For the final touches, Priyanka styled her luscious locks down and sleek with a side part, and glammed up with glowy makeup.

Priyanka has only ever attended the Oscars one other time. She made her debut in 2016 in an ahead-of-its-time white floral naked dress. She styled the sheer dress with diamond jewels and a shiny clutch. Priyanka was also on presenting duty then, ascending the stage with Liev Schreiber to announce the winner of Best Film Editing.
