MEMPHIS – The red-hot Spurs will be without one starter and a key reserve when they face the Grizzlies on Wednesday night.

De’Aaron Fox (lower back tightness) and Luke Kornet (right knee management) were ruled out Tuesday afternoon.

With the playoffs on the horizon, the Spurs (54-18) have been resting players nagged by minor injuries here and there. Fox and Kornet are the latest to get a night off after the team was at full strength for Monday night’s 136-111 win at Miami.

Fox finished with 14 points and six assists in 29 minutes against the Heat. Kornet had five points and eight rebounds in 19 minutes.

The win marked the Spurs’ sixth in a row.
