Fans walk around, shop, and check out each other’s cosplay at Motor City Comic Con on Saturday, Nov. 15.
“Star Trek,” “Game of Thrones” and “The Boys” stars are among the first celebrity guests announced for this spring’s Motor City Comic Con, according to organizers.
The lineup includes actors William Shatner, Jonathan Frakes and Brent Spiner from “Star Trek,” Kit Harington and Lena Headey from “Game of Thrones,” and Karl Urban from “The Boys.”
The event will return May 15-17 to the Vibe Credit Union Showplace in Novi. It began in 1989 and is billed as Michigan’s largest and longest-running pop culture convention.
The three-day event also features comic creators, panels, cosplay contests and fan-focused programming, along with autograph and photo opportunities, Artist Alley and vendor exhibits.

Organizers say additional guests, panels and events will be announced ahead of the convention.
Adult single-day tickets range from $38 to $48, while a weekend pass costs $105 online or $115 at the door. A VIP Fan Pass is $285 online or $299 at the door.
